John Moulton
Board President

John Moulton serves as President of the Elevate Glenrock Board and is the owner of Glenrock Motorsports, a family business operating in Glenrock, Wyoming, since 1994. After more than 30 years of local support for his business and family, John is committed to giving back to the community that has supported him. Within Elevate Glenrock, he has been a driving force behind major community events such as the annual Deer Creek Days, where he continues to highlight the importance of strong board involvement and community engagement. At Glenrock Motorsports, John leads a family-owned and operated business that has served the area for decades, offering ATVs, side-by-sides, generators, tractors, mowers, and full-service repair. John brings to the board a deep commitment to small-town economic vitality and local business support, blending his entrepreneurial experience with dedicated volunteer leadership.

Doug Doherty

A longtime Glenrock resident, Doug has owned and operated several local businesses over the years, including the beloved Classic Café, which he ran for more than two decades. A true family man at heart, Doug is dedicated to serving the Glenrock community and supporting the people and businesses that make it such a special place to live.

Chris Sorenson

Chris is a devoted mother and grandmother who has been a passionate supporter of Elevate Glenrock since attending her very first meeting. She dives in headfirst to volunteer at community events, always eager to bring people together and strengthen the bonds that make Glenrock special. With extensive experience in local industries and previous positions she has held, she offers a unique and valuable perspective when it comes to supporting businesses and the community she loves.

In her spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with family and friends and working on her many crafts. She loves being part of Elevate Glenrock and now the Glenrock Visitor Center, as it allows her to fulfill her greatest passion — serving others and, whenever possible, putting a smile on someone’s face.

Chris moved to Glenrock in 2022 after living in eastern Wyoming since 2019. She was drawn to the beauty of the town and its small-town charm, with the convenience of being adjacent to a larger community when needed. Having grown up in a small town, she deeply missed that close-knit atmosphere. Since moving here, she has been continually amazed by how welcoming and friendly the people of Glenrock are.

Dr. Margaret Farley serves as the Vice President of the Douglas Campus of Eastern Wyoming College. With a strong commitment to education and community development, she brings valuable leadership experience and a passion for lifelong learning to the Elevate Glenrock board. Margaret is dedicated to fostering opportunities that strengthen both local businesses and the broader Converse County community.

Tamra Halley
Treasurer

Owner of Star Taxes and Books, Tamra may be relatively new to Glenrock, but she already feels right at home. Having spent most of her life in small towns, she values the sense of connection and community they offer. Tamra is passionate about helping small business owners create, build, and grow their businesses, and she’s excited to share her expertise to support Glenrock’s continued growth and success.

Karie Moulton is a dedicated community member passionate about the community in which she serves. She believes strong communities are built on involvement, leadership, and an active commitment to service.

Karie has lived in Glenrock for over 30 years. She graduated from Glenrock High School, and then the University of Wyoming with a bachelor’s in criminal justice. Throughout her professional and volunteer work, Karie has demonstrated a deep commitment to community engagement, working closely with local organizations, businesses, and residents to encourage a healthy and thriving community.

Throughout Karie’s years of service to the community, she brings a variety of networking, volunteerism, and leadership skills to the board.

Lonnie Sorenson

Although newer to both the Elevate Glenrock board and the community, Lonnie has quickly become an active and engaged member who feels right at home in Glenrock. As a local real estate agent, he is known for his dedication to his clients and his hands-on approach throughout every step of the buying or selling process. Lonnie’s enthusiasm for community growth and connection makes him a valued part of the team.
