Wild West Fall Fest is a hometown celebration that brings the community together to enjoy two cookoff competitions for adults and for children and celebrate our small-town spirit that make Wyoming special. Held in the heart of Glenrock, this 2 day family-friendly festival is packed with live entertainment, local vendors, food trucks, activities for kids, and seasonal attractions that highlight the best of our town.
Wild West Fall Fest is Elevate Glenrock’s annual backyard BBQ competition and community celebration, bringing together residents and visitors for food, entertainment, and friendly competition.
The event now includes a Kids BBQ Competition, allowing young participants to demonstrate their cooking skills. Community partners and businesses donate prizes for participants, including last year’s grand prize of a smoker donated by Home Depot.
Wild West Fall Fest also serves as a fundraiser for Guardians of the Children, with all proceeds benefiting their organization and their work supporting children in need.
This year we are making this a multi-day event on both Friday and Saturday, and are currently looking into ways to increase attendance and participation for Fall Fest with the expansion in the number of BBQ teams able to compete, vendors, and promotion of the event. This event brings participants and visitors from near and far to gather for an enjoyable and positive event, ultimately increasing tourism within Converse County.
